This late April snowfall in Pdx can’t stop me from satisfying my mid afternoon sushi craving. What to order, what to order... well why not a Red Dragon Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll and Sashimi lunch special with a side of Edamame. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. This place is definitely among the best sushi my partner and I have ever had! it’s super good. they’re very accommodating for food allergies, and clearly label allergens on their menu. this place is super affordable too! it’s really a gem

I’ve had a lot of sushi I’m my life, and Samurai Blue is a gem. The fish was of the absolute highest quality, and their rolls are inventive, interesting and delicious. Sumo roll is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The hotate/scallop nigiri was huge and amazingly fresh. Succulent and tender, the house-pickled saba/mackerel was the best I’ve ever had. Even the miso soup was more delectable than expected. Service is friendly and gracious, and dishes are served on gorgeous hand-carved wooden platters. Get the house hot sake and look who's in your cup! I was really impressed and will definitely be back.

Amazing service and delicious food! Got the chance to be served by a waitress named ‘Annabelle’ and I couldn’t have asked for better service! Assisted me in taking photos to post of my blog! Very accommodating.

We order "chance of rain" sushi roll and Signature Ramen. Both are amazing!! Gyoza with chicken flavor is fine. Nice atmosphere and good service. Staff Bonnye really friendly and good service!! I would like to come back again and recommend to my friend!!

Great flavors, friendly people-what else do you want? The omakase here is great, and a real deal at 50. It's a full meal, with innovative offerings. This visit, it started with a crispy shrimp taco, which I was a bit skeptical of. Delicious. Everything was tasty, with flavors that surprised and delighted. Go there. Get the omakase.

I cannot get over their Calamari, the first time I had it I spent a solid month trying Calamari at every restaurant I went to, it was all subpar. I think the thing is it's not heavily breaded and just a light crispy breading. Their sushi is also great but the Calamari....
